OUR VILLAGE HOME ("Wine Village Welcome"):

Located on the outside edge of Venterol (a protected village), from our "breakfast balcony" one can look down a lane upon vineyards in the valley below. The house is built on the side of a hill and has two bedrooms with a third for rent at small supplement (for large families). There's a large farm kitchen and a bathroom with two showers and sinks. Linen & cooking utensils are provided.
The general feeling of our house is authentic and upbeat. Medieval walls are thick enough to retain the cool even in mid-August. Bike storage available. Parking nearby.


Venterol is perched above a wide valley of vineyards, olive/apricot trees and lavender fields. The community is happily still agricultural with its own baker (for fresh croissants), post office, bistro (on a shady square), and small, intimate restaurant (with an excellent chef). The village claims one of the most magnificent campaniles in Drome Provencale.


Close to cultural festivals in Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange, Avignon and Arles, we are less than an hour and a half from Marseilles/Marignan airport (MRS). Leave the A7 North Auto Route at Orange-Sud, drive east to NYONS, then toward Valreas (5km from Nyons). Google Venterol in Drome.

Full Payment reserves our house.

Your stay is locked in and assured
when full rent is receive by us.

TAXES are included in our Rental Charge.

We ask for 50 Euros as a CLEAN-UP Fee.

The Third Bedroom rents for an additional
50 Euros per week supplement.

Before 10:30am on Saturdays.

These times make it possible for us to
deliver the house to the next vacationer
in clean, impeccable, condition .
Required Stay:
There are 4 distinct RENTAL SEASONS:

1. Spring Season 6/8/13 to 6/29/13
2. Lavender Season 6/29/13 to 7/27/13
3. High Season 7/27/13 to 8/31/13
4. Harvest Season 8/31/13 to 9/14/13

Rental prices vary according to season.

As an example,
700 Euros (or the equivalent)
is the normal High Season weekly price.
Cancelation Policy: If you must cancel your stay,
your rent will be returned minus a modest Inconvenience Charge.... providing we find another occupant to take your place.

When you arrive in Venterol, we ask for a
SECURITY DEPOSIT (le Caution) in Euro CASH equivalent to one week's rent
(irregardless of the length of your stay).

This is returned on your day of departure, providing you return the house in the same condition as you found it upon arrival. You will leave with your cash.
